All poets have stories hidden in the alleyways.
Stuck in the crevasses of asphalt in thoughts.
All singers are poets incognito.
All poets are singers in their dreams.
Every experience in life is a crack
in the author of what is next.
Am I Brian Wilson or Edgar Allan Poe?
Every song has a whistle, every poem
has a word in symbols, a tune.
Every symbol can be converted
into a note by the genie of sound.
So, I sleep in fog, disappear on tour
by myself searching for the next riff,
a rapid, energetic train to fortify.
Memorable words are immortal.
I'm off on another date, a platter
of pizza waiting at Nancy's place.
There, we will build a castle.
A relationship engaging in fantasies,
and the language of poetic words evolves.
All poets, all singers, are storytellers.
