The Blue Lagoon is a luxury retreat spa resort located on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwest Iceland, a region known for its barren and out of this world landscape and cone shaped volcanoes. The world famous lagoon is situated in the middle of black lava fields near a geothermal power plant. The milky-blue geothermal seawater of the lagoon has a constant 38 degree celcius temperature all year round. A nice bath even during the frigid winter is amazing!
