I was doored (driver opened their door immediately in front of my bike) while riding my bike to work. I was worried about possible hidden damage in my carbon fibre (fiber) fork. Luckily my friend Charlie Katrycz knows some nice people at Lumafield, who design industrial CT scanners. Lumafield ran a CT scan (3D x-ray image) on my carbon fibre fork from the accident so we could look for evidence of internal damage that would make the fork dangerous to continue using. The results are quite interesting!
