The iconic Lee patch features a hair-on-hide makeover, a distinguishing featured first introduced to the label in 1928, while the woven label features black, red and gold embroidery which indicates the denim is Sanforized to prevent shrinkage. Drawing cues from its work wear heritage, purposeful patterns such as the hickory take on jackets and overalls, stitched words spelling out “Appreciate Every Jeans Made” echo commitment to design, while copper rivets — first seen on Lee Cowboy Overalls from 1914 — reinforce key construction stress points and add quaint accents throughout.
