One of the many mini-games in this game. This is actually the first one that is a bit tricky. I had to go back and replay a few times to see that the ending part actually have chords instead of single notes with a time difference.
Don't quote me on this, but I think you only need A rank. I just have OCD about getting the star ranks for every song lol. If you just want A rank for the trophy, there is plenty of room for error. Star rank, however, requires you to hit all notes with a great timing. Therefore, it is not exactly the easiest thing out there.
My advice is rely on catching the rhythm instead of chasing everything with your eyes. That way with just a glance you would know what and when to hit the notes.
I almost slipped at the end.
If I get strike for it, I will just take it down.
Oops, it seems that I have missed one piano piece.
