WandaVision: Project Cataract Explained

In amongst every fan theory, easter egg and potential Mephisto reference (yeah, we’ve been kind of obsessed with the Mephisto theories) there has been one constant- SWORD are up to some shady dealings. A potential grand scheme from S.W.O.R.D has been hinted at since Episode 3 with a potential nefarious plan in Project Cataract. This became a giant payoff in Episode 8 when we see in a mid-credits scene that Project Cataract’s real purpose was to bring Vision back online in the form of the new but not improved White Vision. In a literally shocking moment (see what I did there?) S.W.O.R.D’s Project Cataract had come to life with the potential to cause some major damage. But how did Project Cataract come to be? What does it mean? And what ramifications will it have? Well, these are the questions we are going to cover in this video.

Diving into the deep end of WandaVision we will go through the timeline, decode the Project Cataract title and compare it to a certain story arc in the comics. We will also discuss how the plan was foreshadowed and how it will lead up to an ultimate matchup- Vision vs White Vision.
