BLOCK 1:
• Release: "But here's the thing - they clicked. They watched your intro. They made it past the first 30 seconds."
• Re-tension: "So what actually killed the video?"

• Release: "Same pattern. Give the answer first. Then explain why that answer matters. It’s a miracle the video has done as well as it has.."
• Re-tension: "Here's what was actually happening…"

• Release: "You released tension and never raised it again. So how do you improve your retention? Re-tension."
• Re-tension: "When you release tension you need to re-tension or your viewer has no reason to keep watching. And you can't just wing this. You need a system."

• Release: "Which is why you're in luck that I give mine away for free. Link in the description for my newsletter, when you join I’ll send you my scripting system that takes care of this for you and more."
• Re-tension: "But before you can use that system, you need to understand how tension actually works. Because most creators get this backwards and wonder why their retention dies."

BLOCK 2:
• Release: "No new question means no reason to keep watching. Your brain drifts."
• Re-tension: "Last October I had a string of underperformers and it really started to bother me..."

• Release: "And that's when it clicked. They were creating new questions immediately after answering old ones. Tension releases, new tension raises. Over and over."
• Re-tension: "Think of it like magnets..."

• Release: "You're doing setup. You're building tension. You're delivering the payoff."
• Re-tension: "But you're missing this fourth piece. Re-tension."

• Release: "This missing piece is what separates videos people watch all the way through from videos that die at the two minute mark."
• Re-tension: "But most creators who try to use re-tension make one critical mistake that kills the whole thing."

BLOCK 3:
• Release: "Here's what re-tension actually is: immediately raising NEW tension after releasing old tension. You deliver an answer - that releases tension. Then within one or two sentences, you create a new question. A new thing they want to know. That's re-tension."

• Re-tension: "But even that isn't enough. You need to get people thinking."
• Release: "All the creators you can't stop watching? They're creating new questions every 30 to 60 seconds. Pulling you through from beginning to end."

• Re-tension: "That's because their content is designed to keep you anticipating what's next, not just delivering what you came for. And there's a specific tactic they use to create those questions that I need to show you - and it's so simple you'll kick yourself for not seeing it sooner."

BLOCK 4:
• Release: "Watch your favorite creators with this lens. You'll see forward pulls everywhere. Every video that keeps you engaged is doing this constantly."
• Re-tension: "That's because forward pulls create the structure that makes re-tension possible. But here's where most creators get stuck - how do you actually build this into your videos systematically when your brain doesn't naturally think this way?"

BLOCK 5:
• Release: "And right after that payoff, within 1-2 sentences, you add re-tension. You create the next question that pulls them to the next section."
• Re-tension: "So that's the map. Now let me show you what this looks like in practice."

• Release: "So this is how you transform retention systematically. Not by trying to be more charismatic. But by understanding the mechanics and building them into every video you make."
• Re-tension: "That means you can create videos that hold attention from beginning to end, even if you're not naturally entertaining. But there's still one thing that matters more than all of this - and without it, everything we covered is completely pointless."

FINAL BLOCK:
• Release: "So now you can spot the mechanic that keeps you watching. You'll see it in every video that holds your attention."
• Re-tension: "But re-tension only works if they click in the first place. You need a good hook. Without it, everything you learned in this video is pointless."
