This mashup, this week I would consider a happy little accident.
I actually was going to make a different mashup entirely, when creating this one. Infact, I had two different ideas involving OneRepublic and Switchfoot's Dare You To Move. But, then I saw If I Lose Myself had the exact same BPM (despite both songs being very different arrangements and genres), So I figured, why not give it a shot? So I went and in one take, this is what I got!
I am pleasantly surprised with how well the two line up, considering the differences in production and eras of music. (Different genres too!) I really really love how this one combined in the end :)

Funfact I learned while working on this mash, Ryan Tedder himself actually was brought in by Switchfoot for the 20th anniversary of The Beautiful Letdown to do a cover of Dare You To Move, so it all truly comes full circle!
