Ground Report From Chhattisgarh & Mizoram As Voting Ended | Assembly Election 2023

Описание: The Mizoram Legislative Assembly election is underway in all 40 seats in the state, with the results to be declared on December 3. Over 800,000 eligible voters are expected to cast their votes at 1,276 polling stations across the northeastern state today. The incumbent Chief Minister, Zoramthanga's Mizo National Front (MNF), is seeking to retain its authority, while it will lock horns with Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) and Congress.
The month-long assembly elections kicked off on Tuesday, November 7, as Chhattisgarh and Mizoram went to the polls. While in Chhattisgarh's Naxal-affected region, there were instances of occasional violence, in Mizoram, the voting process has been peaceful.
