NORTH KASHMIR - Bandipora & Sopore l With Kashmiri singer musician Baabarr Mudacer l Solo Jan21 S4

Описание: I travelled to Bandipora for the second time in less than a year to meet Baabarr Mudacer, a local Musician, Vocalist, Guitarist, Poet, Music Composer and Rapper from Kashmir. I spend two day's in Bandipora as Baabarr took me around his hometown. We also visited Sopore, a place that I have been wanting to visit for a long time. During our day trip to Sopore we met the very talented Juniad Bhat, a local photojournalist whom I've known for a few year's now. in Sopore I visited the second largest fruit maket and also took a short Tonga ride. This region is the only place where traditional Tongas (horsedriven carriages) are still used.

Bandipora is appox 65 kms & Sopore 47 kms away from Srinagar. This region remains unexplored by tourist. My passion for doing non-tourist things & enjoying the local experience always has me going to these offbeat locations. Besides nature I love to travel for people & culture which gives me a better insight into their way of life.

I couldn't have asked for better company in these beautiful towns with the warmest and most hospitable people.
