Welcome back to another Pokémon TCG deck profile—today we’re diving into Slowking. This deck has been picking up answers to the current meta’s biggest problems, and it just keeps getting smoother and more consistent. PokéPad is a massive upgrade, and Lt. Surge giving us either a prize card or four extra cards in hand feels incredible.
With the right setup, we can KO almost anything in the format using our Seek Inspiration attackers. The deck loops what works, keeps the pressure on, and slowly grinds opponents down. Xatu accelerates energy onto Slowking while drawing two cards, and Gumshoos, Academy and Night, and Ciphercode Maniac help ensure our Seek Inspiration attackers are always ready to go.
It’s reliable, flexible, and surprisingly oppressive—exactly what Slowking loves to be.
