In February and March 2024 we completed a week long rabies vaccination drive in Mumbai.
Working alongside Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mumbai, and many other dedicated partners, we vaccinated a total of 26,951 dogs!
The drive is part of a broader national plan in India to eliminate human rabies deaths by 2030. #OneHealth
Through our Mission Rabies project, we vaccinate dogs in hotspots of the disease and educate communities on the dangers of rabies and how to stay safe. Since the project began in 2013, we have vaccinated over 2 million dogs and educated over 7 million children worldwide.
