The Burj Khalifa (Arabic: برج خليفة - means "Khalifa Tower) is the tallest structure in the world, with height of 828 meters and 163 levels. Opened in 04/01/2010, this megatall skyscraper features a hotel, residences, offices, a restaurant and an observation deck. Originally named Burj Dubai before its inauguration, the building was renamed after the late president of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.


These are the elevators that goes up to the observation deck on the 124th floor and the restaurant/skylobby on the 123rd floor. Since these are double-deck elevators, the lower deck only serves levels C and 123 while the upper deck only serves levels G and 124. There is an additional elevator right next to these that goes up to the 125th floor which was installed a few years after these were installed. Also, these are the fastest elevators in the Middle East, with speed of 10 meters per second!
