In this Tip n Trick video, we show you the best way to install DekTek Tile's concrete decking using our Sleeper System Installation.
It's important for the water to be able to drain properly so you want to make sure that when you are gluing the tiles down with your polyurethane adhesive that you set the adhesive in dabs (blobs) versus a solid bead. A solid bead would prevent water from draining out on the sides of the deck tiles properly.
The next step after setting the adhesive in dabs, is to put a plastic tile spacer (you can get them at any hardware store) in the dabs of glue when the four corners of the tile will be sitting. This only take an extra second and will shim the concrete tile up and allow for even better water drainage.
