Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made several allegations against India during his address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 26. India has responded to the Pakistani Prime Minister's speech. Petal Gehlot, First Secretary at the Indian Permanent Mission to the United Nations, stated in response: "Mr. President, this Assembly witnessed the nonsensical theatrics of the Pakistani Prime Minister this morning, who once again glorified terrorism, which is the cornerstone of his foreign policy. However, no amount of drama or lies can hide the facts. This is the same Pakistan that, on April 25, 2025, shielded a Pakistan-sponsored terrorist organization, The Resistance Front, from accountability for the brutal massacre of tourists in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir before the UN Security Council."
