Описание: With the shortage of surgical masks a nationwide concern we investigated the potential for the sterilization and reuse of surgical masks in a clinic, OR, or hospital setting. We describe a protocol and demonstrate how this can be performed in medical offices and facilities with a standard autoclave. This reuse of masks could significantly decrease the consumption of these masks until supplies are more consistent.
