This is for the RichaadEB Cover Contest. Good luck to all of the entrants! Everyone's been great so far.

The following chunk of description is a little important, I'd suggest giving it a read. I'll be posting in the comments as well.

This is one of the longest amounts of time I've gone without uploading anything on this channel. As many of you know, I was intending to go on hiatus for an indefinite amount of time, because I'm struggling with some really tough personal stuff at the moment. I had pretty much decided I wasn't going to upload any more covers until the end of my third year of YouTube, which ends in June. And instead I was going to slowly work on a secret project. Literally a few hours after making that decision, this nerd RichaaDeb decided to launch a cover contest... and I couldn't resist. Making this cover for the contest has brought me plenty of positive energy, and I'm gonna keep going. I'm gonna keep making as many video game and anime covers as I can, while still working on the secret project in the background. I owe so much to Rich for inspiring me to kick my own butt into gear and keep doing what I love. Thanks so much for making this contest :)

alrIGHT NOW FOR THE MEEEEEEEMES (real description)

So I've been wanting to make this cover for a whiiiile now. Clannad is one of my favourite anime, and has my absolutely favourite anime OST. So I'm eventually gonna cover a ton of it. This song is probably one of the most emotional songs in the soundtrack for me. Every time it started playing I would immediately be like "NO PLEASE CHANGE THE SONG I DON'T WANNA LISTEN TO THIS" so I knew I had to make my arrangement huge and capture that feeling. Did I come through? idk man, I think I did okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This one actually proved to be quite the challenge to arrange, because I believe this is my first time writing any metal stuff in 3/4 time. My main issue was programming the drums, and figuring out which beat to put the snare on etc, but I think it turned out alright.

I think this is probably one of the best products I've made altogether, audio and video. As you can see I shot this one outside in the snow! We normally get little to no snow here, but I guess we got lucky this year. I took it as an opportunity to use its scenery for a video, and it worked out pretty well for this song in particular!

I'm gonna upload another cover Christmas day. And hopefully the Q&A (finally!!!!!) a few days before that. It's gonna be a re-cover of a certain tune I did in a medley not too long ago. Stay tuned :)
