I finally started paying attention to Paramore after a long time hearing about them. I stumbled upon a video of Ilan Rubin playing that song and it just blew my mind. Ilan has been among my favorite drummers for a while. A combination of efficiency, consistency and musicality. His drum parts in this album are simply perfect to me. It's exciting, interesting and satisfying for drummers and it really blends perfectly with the songs. This type of drumming is what really gets me these days.
This song called "Now" is really meaningful to me.
I hope you'll enjoy this cover as much as I did. This was super fun to play and is probably my favorite cover to this day. I'll probably do some more Paramore soon so stay tuned and make sure to subscribe if you enjoyed this :D
