MA Material Futures: Future Tool Workshop

Описание: Tools exist in multiple forms. From woven carrier bags and flints to contemporary devices such as smartphones and 3D printers, the tools we use often shape the world that surrounds us.

In a recent workshop "Future Tool”, we asked first year students to imagine a future world and the tools they would need to inhabit it. In order to realise these tools, we used the ancient and traditional technique of sand casting.
