I opened up my Waldorf Nave synth app today and just started a live experimental flow of sound using one of my presets— which lasted almost 9 minutes. I then went into my Sunrizer synth app and added two more tracks to flesh things out. It all reminded me of a fever dream or nightmare soundtrack and I pulled out a title recalling my love for science fiction (Thank you Phillip K. Dick).

I was also inspired in this piece by the pioneering electronic works of Morton Subotnick and Edgard Varèse. I also was thinking of the release Gassman / Sala – Electronic Music For The Ballet "Electronics" / Five Improvisations On Magnetic Tape. There are very slight echoes of some of Tangerine Dreams earliest electronic excursions herein.

This is not music by any means but it is definitely experimental electronic music. My very first electronic music 2004 release, Codex Hypnos, holds similar bizarre soundscapes. It was nice to revisit my roots with this one. I hope you find it interesting.
