Описание: As we reflect on the accomplishments of women everywhere this Women’s History Month, we want to celebrate and acknowledge our female grad students, junior specialists and interns who are all pursuing their dreams in animal agriculture. According to the Census of Agriculture, female producers made up 36% of farmers in the U.S. as of 2019, and that number continues to grow. And while it’s no secret that a number of students who attend UC Davis to study animal science plan to become veterinarians, a lot have also fallen in love with animal agriculture. It doesn’t matter how your story in agriculture started, but where it’s going that truly matters.
