We are delighted to host Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a significant event in
the Union’s history after hosting her husband, campaigning for her release, in January and seeing her finally being released just this March. Nazanin was taken hostage while on holiday in Iran in April 2016, and held for 6 years across two prison sentences until her release in March 2022. She lives in West Hampstead, North London, with her husband and daughter Gabriella, and works for the Thomson Reuters Foundation ............................................................................................................................
