STORYLINE:
Following in the footsteps of his late mother Diana, Britain''s Prince Harry established his own charity Friday to help AIDS orphans in southern Africa.
The Sentebale charity will focus on children in the tiny African kingdom of Lesotho, which Harry visited this week.
Sentebale - which means "Forget Me Not" in the local language, Sesotho - is Harry''s personal initiative.
He''s the co-founder together with Lesotho''s Prince Seeiso. It''s the latest step in Harry''s drive to continue his mother''s legacy in the fight against AIDS.
The name is intended as a tribute both to the children of Lesotho and to Diana, who died in a car crash almost nine years ago.
During this week''s trip - his fourth to the kingdom - Harry said his mother had been a "massive" inspiration for the Sentebale project.
The Prince visited the Mants''ase Children''s home near the town of Mohale''s Hoek which he first saw two years ago.
There he was reunited with four year-old Mutsu Potsane, whom he met during a previous trip. Echoing Diana''s natural touch with children, Harry cuddled the youngster and made him laugh by pulling faces.
Harry went on to tour a crop-sharing scheme in the remote village of Nokong in the Maluti mountains. Villagers are being taught more efficient farming techniques - and in return they''re using their increased yields to feed vulnerable children.
The Prince drew applause from villagers when he addressed them in the Sesotho language.
Sentebale plans to provide long-term support for smaller projects that miss out on large-scale international funding.
