A compelling episode that shows how much Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler care about each other, that they were willing to put each others' safety over the job. Rebecca Clifford was found safe, and Victor Paul Gitano was shot after holding Stabler hostage (he also committed many more sickening crimes years and weeks before, having killed Rebecca's family.) Benson and Stabler confide in each other, and Benson asks for a new partner.
