The 2019 edition of the Breca Jersey swimrun in partnership with Visit Jersey featuring Ben Abdelnoor and our intrepid participants, saw 220 swimrunners gathered at Gorey Castle ahead of what would prove to be a challenging day traversing the Jersey coast.
Competitors were faced with high swells and significant chop, conditions which make the number of course records broken even more impressive with the final team of the day, finished the race after almost 10 hours of toil. A Breca race is never easy, but it’s always worth it, and never more so than on Jersey.
“The one thing that unites every finisher is that they all have smiles as wide as the island of Jersey,” remarked one commentator. We look forward to seeing you in September!
