Today we're stepping outside the norm with Gruul Prowess in Modern — no blue spells, no cantrips, just raw aggression and surprising synergy. While most players stick with Izzet, I wanted to see what Gruul had to offer in the Prowess shell. Spoiler: it's got some serious heat.
I took this list through a full MTGO league and ended 3-2, but there’s real potential here. The deck curves low, hits hard, and punishes slower starts. It’s underexplored, but it’s no joke.
