Recent statistics reveal a concerning increase in cancer cases in individuals between the ages of 18 and 39. In fact, this number is projected to increase by 30% globally in the next 5 years. Industry experts state that 90% of those employed in the tech sector are under the age of 40 - an age group that should be focused on building their careers, buying houses and starting families, not facing their own mortality.

Join the first-ever NL Tech Shave for the Brave for a fun and powerful afternoon in support of Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC). The Tech industry is coming together to make a real impact in the lives of young adults facing cancer all across Canada.

When: Thursday June 26, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Where: Keyin College, St. John's
Who: Leading the charge, Craig Rowe and Steven Taylor will be going under the clippers for the most powerful haircut of their lives. Everyone is welcome to Shave!
