I find it quite impossible to not fully and emotionally invest myself in an edit, a story, that I care about. I’ve tried to find ways to be more practical in the way that I edit but at this point I don’t think I can change how much time and energy I have to spend when I truly care about the story. This one was down to the last minute. Yennefer is a brilliant character. What really wrapped me up with Yen was the relationship between her and Tissaia. This story arc between the two was incredibly powerful as Tissaia took the role of a mother figure for Yen without her knowing. There were moments when I caught myself lost in their acting and left speechless. I really hope that those who watch this are able to see what I saw in their work. I do hope everyone enjoys it.
