In this episode, we ride deep into Patagonia’s backcountry and take on one of the least-used motorcycle border crossings in South America. Is it worth it? Or will the solitude, rough roads, and confusing paperwork leave us regretting our choice?

Our motorcycle adventure starts in Cochrane, Chile, and leads us along empty gravel roads to Paso Roballos — where we’re greeted by silence, wind, and a very sleepy border. We push on across the Patagonian steppe, camp in Patagonia National Park (for free!), and end up visiting the prehistoric wonder of Cueva de las Manos.
