So many are told that "it's not cancer" or that all they need is to have their appendix removed and to not think about it again.
Yes, technically LAMN (Low grade mucinous neoplasms of the appendix) is not cancer, however this disease can sometimes be mixed types, and this disease can morph in either direction.
LAMN may be low grade, however it also deserves the proper attention; regular monitoring (labs and CT scans) and proper treatment.
