The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and other Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Service Program (RCEF-RESP) implementing agencies are conducting DAC to capacitate RCEF Farm Schools and Regular Learning Sites for Agriculture in implementing digital literacy training for farmers.
Pursuant to the Local Government Code (RA 7160) and the Supreme Court decision on the Mandanas Doctrine, the training of farmers and provision of direct extensions services shall be conducted by local government units (LGUs) and their partners. Thus, a DAC Training of Trainers (TOT) shall prepare Farm Schools for their roles as digital agriculture regional trainers.
