NEW FAN + UNBOXING: 52" Gulf Coast Dixie Belle Ceiling Fan

Описание: I give in. I've always wanted a Gulf Coast fan (especially a Dixie Belle) for a very long time. But not only there's no Dan's Fan City in my area since I live in the west coast to the point where finding Gulf Coast fans are really hard to find, but the retail price they go for are expensive. But this showed up on eBay that's not the retail price and I went ahead and got it.

This fan was acquired from eBay for a dirt cheap price as a Christmas gift for myself. The seller before me purchased these years ago for an investment property, but they never did install them. The only issue it has is the reverse switch sometimes acts finicky. I tried using WD-40 inside the contacts of the switch and it didn't really help. Sometimes it won't work on downdraft, but will work on updraft most of the time. I had to mess around with the reverse switch a few times to get it working on downdraft. I might add a bit more WD-40 on the reverse switch or replace the switch if it still keeps having the same issue.
