This was the first video project I helped produce, alongside my team members Shonagh Gill and Cas McCracken, in partial fulfilment of my Master's degree. The assignment was part of our Broadcast Journalism course and was a wonderful learning experience.
Filming a live event and approaching the relevant people in such a fast paced environment was challenging, but I enjoyed conducting the interviews and meeting these interesting people. Although it isn't perfect, I am still pleased with the finished product as it was my first attempt at making a piece of TV journalism, and I think it reflects a lesser known aspect of Belfast's artistic and cultural landscape.
