6:09 I wired it wrong!! I reference the positive wire routed to the positive terminal and the negative routed to negative terminal on the pump. However, after having a great conversation over the phone today with Michael, the owner of solarpool.com, Somehow I missed the instructions on wiring the motor in reverse polarity as the impeller inside the pump needs to run in the opposite direction for proper water flow. DC motors can turn in either direction by simply changing the polarity of the wiring.
