As a young boy, Prophet Yusuf (Alayhis Salaam) saw a dream that eleven stars, the sun, and the moon were bowing to him — a sign of his future honor. But his jealous brothers plotted against him and threw him into a deep well.
He was found and sold into slavery in Egypt, where he faced trials that would have broken anyone else — yet he remained patient and faithful. Even when tested by the temptation of the wife of Al-Aziz, he said:
“I seek refuge in Allah! Indeed, my Lord has made my stay honorable.” (Surah Yusuf 12:23)
After years of imprisonment, Allah raised him to power. He became a minister of Egypt, managing resources wisely during famine and finally reuniting with his family — fulfilling the dream he saw as a child.
