Durham University Brass Band performs Barnard Castle (Goff Richards) at UniBrass 2021. The band came in 1st place at the 2021 contest. They were also awarded the most entertaining, best student conductor (Thomas Hicken) and best percussion section awards.

Durham University Brass Band is a non-auditioned band founded in February 2002. They pride themselves on being a friendly, welcoming group for all players, and striving to reach the highest standard of playing they can. After a difficult year of online rehearsals and lockdowns they have come back to playing together in the final term of the 2020/21 academic year and are ready to put on a fantastic show!
UniBrass 2021 was the first in-person brass band contest in the UK following the Covid-19 pandemic and was hosted outdoors by the University of Sheffield Brass Band.
