ANCHOR TEXT(S):
Proverbs 14:1 - "Every wise woman buildeth her house: But the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."

Proverbs 24:3 - "Through wisdom is an house builded; And by understanding it is established:"

OBJECTIVE(S):
(1) Exploring core areas the wise woman needs to build (or be a builder).
(2) Understanding what the wise woman requires to build.

(A) INTRODUCTION:
The scriptures we read make it very clear that it takes wisdom to build anything that will last.
You can build without wisdom but if the structure or construction will last, wisdom must be engaged or fully at work.
Wisdom is a critical requirement for a profitable life in time and eternity.
It is not possible to experience a profitable life without wisdom.
The absence of wisdom is the abundance of losses.
People lose in life where wisdom lacks.
Wisdom is the mystery behind every outstanding shining life.

Ecclesiastes 8:1 - "Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.

So, every Godly woman is expected to be a wise builder.
It is enough for a woman to just be Godly, it is expected that you must be wise.
Infact wisdom is a department of Godliness.
Without the wisdom of God at work in you, your Godliness is not complete.

(B) WHAT ARE THE AREAS A WISE WOMAN IS EXPECTED TO BUILD?

1. SPIRITUALITY
A wise woman builds her spirituality.
Spirituality simply means one's relationship with God.
A wise woman maintains buoyant spirituality or relationship with God.
Life is in order only when the spirit is in order.
To be spiritual means you're both God-loving and God-fearing.
The fear of the Lord is the entry qualification for the school of wisdom.

Proverbs 9:10 - "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: And the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Nobody can gain admission into the school of wisdom without the fear of the Lord.
Infact, to fear the Lord is wisdom.

Job 28:28 - "And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.

Wisdom is not in place where the fear of the Lord is not in place.
It is foolishness for anyone to live independent of his or her Creator.
It is foolishness live a self centred life.
A life centred around self or flesh is useless.
The flesh is never a good promise keeper.
So, a wise woman is both God-loving and God-fearing.

Proverbs 31:30 - "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: But a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."

WHAT DOES IT IMPLY TO FEAR THE LORD?
A. The fear of the Lord implies reverence for God.
A wise woman regards and deeply respects God.
B. The fear of the Lord implies deference to God.
A wise woman submits to God's will whether convenient or not.
Wisdom is the discovery and pursuit of God's ways and methods of doing things.
When you do things the way other's do, you get common human results.
The ways of God are the highways of life.
C. The fear of the Lord implies reference to God in all issues.
A wise woman refers to God's Word in all issues.
Wisdom is submission to God's scriptural instructions at all points.
D. The fear of the Lord implies making God your life's priority.
A wise woman puts God first in her life and endeavours.
Don't do anything without considering God first.
Don't take any step without God.

2. FUTURE
A wise woman builds her future.
A wise woman does not live life anyhow.

HOW DO YOU FOCUS ON BUILDING THE FUTURE AS A WISE WOMAN?
A. Focus on your becoming all you were destined to be.
B. Focus on living a life of vision.
C. Focus on building your potentials and talents.
D. Focus on maximising life's opportunities.
E. Focus on living a life of value.

3. FAMILY

HOW DO YOU WISELY BUILD A GODLY FAMILY, MARRIAGE OR HOME?

(A) WISDOM TIPS FOR SINGLES:
i. Involve God in your search for a life partner.

ii. Marry your friend.

iii. Marry a lover of God.

iv. Marry someone with similar vision, focus, passion, priorities and mentality.

v. Marry someone you have peace and assurance about.

vi. Don't develop an emotional relationship where you are not interested in marriage.

vii. Be on the look out for warning signals during courtship.

viii. Never despise the counsel of valuable who genuinely love you.

ix. Don't start courtship too early if you are not ready to marry soon.

x. Maintain the purity of the marriage bed.

(B) WISDOM TIPS FOR MARRIED:
i. Strong vision for marital harmony.
ii. Draw inspiration from exemplary godly marriages.
iii. Maintain genuine spirituality.
iv. Be a real Christian.
v. Be interested in the welfare of your partner.
vi. Be an investor in the life of your partner.
vii. Be trustworthy.
viii. Maintain true friendship.
ix. Possess forgiveness.
x. Be a continuous learner.
