Описание: Medicinal plants are considered the backbone of medicine and in order to conserve their biodiversity, a multidimensional, planetary health perspective is required particularly in times of major anthropogenic adverse effects such as climate change and soil degradation. To achieve this, a paradigm shift is needed for sustainable conservation of medicinal plants resources while honouring ancient and Indigenous knowledge systems to save this valuable heritage for the health of people, place and planet. In documenting these plants, we are also documenting cultural heritage, language, ecological memory, and community identity.
