We were just looking for a place to camp between The Badlands/Custer State Park and Yellowstone. Little did we know that we would drive into a densely inhabited wildlife mecca. We will show you where we camped for free and give you a tour of three nearby pay campgrounds. In the morning, I lifted the blinds to see two moose grazing nearby. They returned every day we were there. I filmed a long interaction between a moose family and an overly curious, frisky herd of deer.
