Rakkanawa Water Fall 🌊🌿, also known as Watawala Ella, is a scenic, wide, two-section cascade located near Deraniyagala in the Kegalle District of Sri Lanka. Originating from the Watawala Oya, this hidden gem offers a tranquil, jungle-surrounded escape featuring, clear water pools suitable for bathing, and a peaceful atmosphere ideal for, picnics. 🌿
Location : Situated in the Deraniyagala region, specifically off the Deraniyagala–Noori Road.
Access: Reached by travelling about 21 km from Deraniyagala, followed by a short, narrow concrete road leading towards a bridge over the Watawala Oya.🌿
Features: It is a wide, two-stage cascade. The surrounding area is lush and often misty, providing a "hidden" feel compared to more popular tourist spots.🌿
