In this episode, I’m once again recording from my parents’ home and sharing what’s currently on my needles—along with a few honest thoughts about motivation, frogging projects, and finding joy in knitting.
I briefly introduce myself (for anyone new here!)—I’m Ida, based in Denmark, knitting alongside family life and co-organizing the Fiberfolk knitting festival.

Fern Tee by Knitting for Olive – a lightweight summer top in a bamboo/linen blend. I share my modifications, thoughts on plant-based yarns, and why I skipped the gauge swatch (again!).
Lacy Loop Cardigan by Other Loops – an addictive, rhythmic knit using a cotton/viscose/linen blend. Simple, engaging, and perfect for everyday knitting.
🧸 Almost Finished
A small knitted cat made from scraps, just needing embroidery before it’s ready as a handmade birthday gift.

A complex colorwork sweater (Rosie Sweater by Lene Holme Samsøe) that requires more focus than I currently have time for

Sometimes letting go of a project is the best decision.
