NeXus fluids are set up so that both granular and liquid particles can interact seamlessly, including the use of nxFluids tags for precise control. We explore data mapping techniques to trigger the exact moment of snow collapse, ensuring the timing feels both natural and cinematic. Finally, liquid and granular particles are meshed separately and textured in Redshift, where we build convincing snow and water materials using subsurface scattering and transmission effects.
