An enigmatic performer with a haunting voice that feeds one’s soul - Sierra has a way about her that is different than any other artist, her lyrics are relatable and beautiful, her voice something special and different, and her energy and spirit shines right into you a light you didn’t know you were missing. Sierra performed at this year’s Calgary Folk Festival, which takes place on an island in the middle of the city of Calgary surrounded by nature, all too suited to our ethereal Sierra Ferrell - the queen of Americana and a future hall of famer. “Give it Time” might include of Sierra’s most relatable lyrics for all those of us who have loved and lost, with time being the only true healer. Backed by Sierra’s incredibly talented band - The Littlest Honky Tonk is honoured to capture a little piece of their magic within the walls of a country music museum - suited to the old time flavour Sierra’s roots are in.
