Asa Di Vaar is collection of ballads/stanzas and is usually sung before sun rise in the beautiful Raag Asa. Written by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Angad Dev Ji and Guru Raam Das Ji, the Bani (prayer) praises the wondrous creation and condemns hypocrisy. Many Gursikhs (Sikhs of the Guru) recite this Bani as part of their Nitnem (Daily Sikh Prayers), as it is a practical guideline for life. Be sure to watch this amazing 24 part series, and by implementing these practical teachings, you can be released from the 8.4 million cycles of life and merge with the One.
