The Sobaneshwar temple is located on the banks of the Prachi river and is only 8 km distance from Niali and about 50 km from Cuttack. Lord Shiva is worshipped in this Sobhaneswar temple. It is famous for lord Sobhaneswar and Durga Madhav temple. There is a Large bull structure of Nandi in front of the entry gate. Maha Shiva Ratri is the main festival of this temple, and a large number of devotees come here to worship Sovaneswara Mahadev. A small museum is attached to the Niali temple, and it is a beautiful picnic spot. Sovaneswara Mahadev is one of the famous temples in Cuttack District, Odisha.
