The Odisha Government has taken a major step to ensure the safety of Odia people stranded in the Middle East due to the ongoing war. Chief Secretary reviewed the situation with Home, Labor, and Information departments. A 24-hour toll-free number and WhatsApp helpline have been launched for emergency assistance. Special Officer Pritish Panda has been appointed as the Nodal Officer to coordinate the rescue mission with the Central Government.
