Описание: Every year on 27th September, we commemorate World Tourism Day. Amrapali Group of Institutions started the celebrations from 22nd - 27th September by promoting various events to instill social and moral values and to foster understanding toward World Tourism Day. This was done to raise awareness and bridge the communication gap.

The first day started with a lamp-lighting ceremony, and the students displayed their oratory prowess by participating in an oratory competition ontopic"Importance of Tourism in Uttarakhand."

On day second a poster-making competition with the theme "Eco-tourism in Uttarakhand” was organized. The students competed in this competition by showcasing their poster-making abilities through their paintings and sketches, promoting Uttarakhand's ecotourism.

The celebration moved on and students organized a Photography competition on day three wherein they displayed some beautiful photographs of different tourist destinations clicked by them. The students also explained the idea and the purpose of the photographs displayed.
On the fourth day, the celebrations resumed as the students prepared to serve as the quizzers who would check their understanding of global tourism. The topic of the quiz tournament was "World tourism” where they showcased their knowledge on world tourism.

Finally, a closing ceremony of "World Tourism Day" brought the event to a close. AIHM Gourmet Club presented a workshop on "Handmade Pastas." The students got an opportunity to learn and implement the skills imparted by their mentors. Rajat Gangwar – a student of AIHM delivered a speech on World Tourism Day followed by the screening of a documentary on Uttarakhand Tourism.

Prof. Dr. Shailendra Kumar Singh – COO, AIHM congratulated the winners of all competitions organized during world tourism week and thanked all the participants and faculty members for their tireless work and coordination. Prof. Singh inspired the students to respect tourism in all facets of life and to contribute to its expansion and advancement. With applause, laughter, and joy, this tourism week came to an end. Students and faculty members were seen snapping pictures through a selfie counter with beautiful grins and positive attitudes.
