Описание: 💖 A huge, huge thank you to Giuseppe Caruso for sharing this historic and extremely rare footage with the world. In a way, it is a special gift from Renata Tebaldi to her dear friend, and with this heaven-sent offering, they are both with us again today as we commemorate the 21st anniversary of Franco's death.

ℹ As far as we know at the moment, this is all the surviving material, with the original cuts (unfortunate as they are), and I have not made any modifications to the footage.

The video was filmed on March 16, 1961, in Washington, D.C., at the State Department Auditorium, where the 100th anniversary of the unification of Italy was celebrated in the presence of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline (Jackie) Kennedy.
