Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind opened the 5th annual Utah Blues Festival on Friday, June 14th, setting the stage for a great weekend of live music. This performance spanned Jason's career, creating an entertaining yet thought provoking set. It also spanned the range of emotions, combining the upbeat, with cuts deep in the dark side of the Blues. Tracks from Jason's at the time yet to be released album 'My Chops Are Rolling' were also featured. With Jason, The Bad Kind are; Kaitlin Dibble on vocals, John Laci on guitar and vocals, Jack Joshua on bass, and John Perkins on drums. Following Jason's set were Sue Foley and Tab Benoit, making day one at the Utah Blues Fest a very memorable one.
