Описание: "What would happen if we used videogame mechanisms as new tools to solve urban problems and create urban simulations?". The project questions the future scenarios of the Canal Istanbul project. It aims to look at the issues thought to be caused by this mega-project, which could affect Istanbul's historical heritage, ecology, and urban macro form. The scenario layout consists of levels, each referring to alternative urban simulations and digital personas representing them. Videogame technologies support these dystopian episodes as a method of visual representation. Thus, the bond between the discipline of architecture and game technologies becomes more substantial. The videogame begins with the time travel of a local farmer, European Ground Squirrel, and Cormorant Bird, who are actors living in Istanbul today, to 2050. The characters slowly observe the surroundings and try to understand the "New City". While avatars are trying to survive, personas are trying to solve the mystery of what happened to their world over the years.
